Awful outdated terms and conditions

System worked ok for a many years the occasional hicup in connection where you cannot control the mouse or the connection just drops but who knows what is to blame. Lacked chat but think that is fixed on later versions than we used. File transfer has always been a bit hit and miss.

We let payment lapse as starting using Gotomeeting instead, only to discover that this is a rolling contract for 12 months and you have to cancel 2 months in advance, honest mistake but the aggressiveness and inflexibility of 'cusotmer service' shocked me. I would recommend that people looking for an offering like this go to someone with a more flexible contract. You will want to move service is something better comes to market.

In summary, I would not recommend Beam Your Screen to a friend.

Worst and most expensive software I have ever used NOT FREE!

The editor here obviously never signed up for an account and tried this software. I tried this service and it has got to be the most expensive and bug ridden service I have ever tried. Software performance is spotty at best, does not connect half of the time and I would spend 15-20 minutes just trying to get a conference going. Any of my participants who did manage to connect wound up with icons all over their desktop for a trial of this software (which I had to go back and clean up later), and the technical support is non-existent. Trial is not FREE. You have to give them a credit card and create an account which is impossible to cancel. A yearly subscription option, not monthly, is all that is available when you sign up and you HAVE to cancel in writing. There is no facility for canceling online or through your account. Took me many tries (weeks) to get this turned off and not only could I not get a refund for the months I didn't use, when my subscription ended months later they tried charging me for another year saying... I have a consulting business and I used BYS for two years to provide remote support for any clients/users who were not attached to one of the networks I support (remote workers, small clients etc...). Software worked well enough with a few compromises. I liked that it was quick to install for a client joining a session for the first time and there were minimal key clicks to get the process started. Once connected, as soon as the host allows access to the keyboard and mouse, you can completely remote control the host PC. Run programs, diagnostics installations, troubleshoot etc.. as if you were there... almost. Once connected, performance can be very spotty. Very often I would have to ask the person in front of the machine what was on the screen because it was updating so slow. I also tended to lose control of the keyboard and mouse very often forcing me to then have to ask the person on the other end to go through the process of allowing me access again. Beam Your Screen - relationship management pitiful

I was not satisfied in the beam your screen service : too slow, only working half the time...
I cancelled my account two months before the renewal and the customer service said that they haven't received my cancellation.
They consider that I renew my contract even if I didn't use their service since the begining of the year.
I didn't see a customer relationship so bad.

In summary, I would not recommend Beam Your Screen to a friend.

Bad Product; Dishonest Contract Practices

Remote connections work half the time. The other half I get an image of the remote screen but can't control anything. Customer Serverice is bad. The worst is the contract. After paying nearly $300 for a bad product I'm told I didn't cancel in time. By 3 days. So I now have to pay for another full year. Waste of time and money. Stay away.
