BEWARE of DIMDIM

We began with a free account at DimDim which we upgraded to a pro acocunt in order to receive better service. The word service is a joke because we got none. The service is very unreliable and the support is non existant. Support passes you from person to person and issues are not resolved and promises are made and not kept (phone calls to be returned or made; email responses, etc.)
In March, 2010 we cancelled the service and now we have an unauthorized charge for renewal on our credit card.
DimDim's response to the charge (which by the way was pending when I notified them -- that is how recent it was) is "Since these are subscription accounts, we do not provide refunds. I however assure you that once the account has been downgraded, you will not get charged any further."
This account was cancelled and their own sales department verified that. The charge was not authorized and no communication was sent on renewal.
In summary, I would not recommend Dimdim to a friend.
