I am searching for a webinar service to teach classes worldwide. GoToWebinar has it all but does not support video sharing which is extremely surprising. I used their trial offer and their customer support person gave me 2 personalized hours with a practice webinar - very impressive. Their managing screen is intuitive and easy to use. Recording and downloading to resell or share webinars is easy.
The problem with videos, a tech person told me, is they support sharing IMAGES (such as PowerPoint) and video sharing it too slow. Also, they cannot capture the audio output from your computer when a video is playing so you would have to put your headset microphone up to your computer speaker or rig a second computer with output connected to input (it is more complicated than that).
Another basic (small) problem is with their autoresponder invitation. You can download your logo or image to brand the email invitation, but the invitation that is sent out does not embed the image. Instead it adds it as an attachment to the email. Strange that such a basic feature is not fixed.
I still have not found anyone as good as GoToWebinar who supports video so I may have to compromise what I can present. I welcome any suggestions. You can contact me through Global Wildlife Resources. Mark Johnson
In summary, I would recommend GoToMeeting to a friend.
