We use Saba Meeting very heavily where I work. Almost everything is done in on-line meetings. Where do I begin to describe how bad this service is? The word "Saba" is used as an expletive at my organization. The adjective before "Saba" in my bookmarks cannot be uttered in polite company.
1. Saba is supposed to run on Macs. I guess technically it does but you have to figure out work-arounds that are quite different from PC's and there is terrible support. One example of how it "runs" on a Mac. Within a meeting you can create an agenda--upload documents, images, power-point presentation. etc On a mac, if you upload a ppt. to the agenda, you only get the first page of the presentation, if you want your entire presentation you have to upload it slide by slide either as separate ppt, gif, tif, etc.
2. Botched upgrades. After our upgrade to Saba 8, nothing worked, absolutely nothing. We had to cancel an entire week of meetings. It took several weeks more to recover all of our previously recorded meetings and have them available for play-back....
